Originally composed for "The Malkavian" as part of a project for the Yogscast Game Jam 2021.

Unfortunately, nothing was submitted this time around but I managed to string three tracks together that I thought I'd release and share as I always do!

The game was going to be something along the lines of deck building games like "Slay the Spire", where each card has two different modes of functionality. To match each modes, I composed a battle theme that wasn't too active and a little more atmospheric and minimalist than usual to counterbalance things. Allowing the player space to think and strategise, much like how other music for card games compliments the gameplay.

I was happy with how they turned out and I feel the instrumentation that I came up with fit the game's world well enough.

Game premise:

"For the background, in vampiric world malkavians are vampires with a mental sickness. In this case, our protagonist has multiple personality disorder, so she can change her personality randomly. The thing is every time she changes his personality the cards of the deck flip to other opposite effects/abilities."

Made energetically with SunVox with some lighter organ/string synths and percussive elements.
